Allie
Allie is excited to succeed with Adrenaline: Regina Sports. She has a background in administration and office education, and is now attending SIAST in the Graphic Communications program. Allie has worked as an office clerk, a production assistant, and also has a certificate in Office Education from SIAST. Her organizational skills and background in administrative work are perfect for her role at Adrenaline as administration manager. Allie also develops the majority of the layout of Adrenaline’s monthly issues. Allie has a background in basketball, enjoys running and taking various workout classes, and is an avid Phoenix Suns fan. Allie looks forward to continuing with Adrenaline in the future in administration and graphic design functions.
Julie
Julie has brought her background and education from the newspaper and magazine industries into Adrenaline: Regina Sports and is excited to work with and promote the local sports scene in Regina. Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Regina. She has worked in newspaper and magazine in a variety of disciplines, including sport and lifestyle. As a freelancer, she has had the opportunity to write for many different publications. She has also worked in broadcast and was also a co-author in the book The Saskatchewan Roughriders: The First 100 Years. Julie also has many athletic and recreation experiences in sports such as hockey, golf, running, triathlon, yoga, and water skiing, in addition to working for the Canada Summer Games and volunteering in sporting capacities. She is looking forward to continuing to grow Adrenaline and spread the word about Regina sports.
Maurice
Maurice has been contributing photos and taking photographic assignments from Adrenaline since the fall of 2009. On first seeing the magazine he was struck by its uniqueness, quality and potential – he wanted to be a part of it ! Maurice has been involved in digital photography for the last dozen years. His interest began as a result of photographing his four boys playing hockey and his daughter figure skating. He has developed and used those skills to raise money for numerous non-profits and charities. His sports photographs can be seen at www.mauricelaprairie.com <http://www.mauricelaprairie.com> . Maurice is an avid runner who regularly competes in road races including the Queen City Marathon. Maurice is very proud of his association with Adrenaline and looks forward to contributing to the tremendous success story that Adrenaline has become.
Jay
Jay has been working with Adrenaline since the development of the first issue. Jay’s role as Creative Director is to create cover layouts, review the magazine before it goes to print, and occasionally provide photography. Jay loves the fact that he gets to work with an inspiring sports-minded team of individuals who’s focus is to shine a light on Regina’s local athletes of all ages. Jay is also the President of AdSpark Communications, an Advertising Agency in Regina.
