Regina Athletics 2-2 at Western Canadian midget AAA Baseball Championships

The Regina Athletics finished the Western Canadian midget AAA baseball championship with a 2-2 record in Victoria over the weekend. The Athletics were representing Saskatchewan. On Sunday, they beat BC 4-2 – Dylan Kozak was the winning pitcher while Jesse LaRocque earned the save and Cole boychuk had a three-run double. Regina Pacers are Western Canada bantam AAA baseball champions

The Regina Pacers won the gold medal game at the Western Canada bantam AAA baseball championship. They beat the Vancouver Mounties 3-2 in the championship game. They were down two; then Ryker Toffan hit a two-RBI double in the fifth, while Carson Bogdan hit an RBI the next inning for the lead. Bulyea Rustlers win Western Cycle Rambler Park Fastball

The Bulyea Rustlers won the Western Cycle Rambler Park Fastball title on Friday, beating the Regina Gold 3-1 in the final game. Kevin Young was the winning pitcher, striking out seven in seven innings. Cory Krahenbil hit a game-winning home run in addition to going 2-for-3 and stealing a base. Canadian midget baseball championship

The Canadian midget baseball championship is underway in Regina, SK, from August 18th to the 21st. The Humboldt Dodgers are represting Saskatchewan while the Regina Mets are the host team. August 21 – Saskatchewan lost 11-1 to Alberta to take them to the bronze medal game, where they faced Quebec. Humbolt’s batters couldn’t figure out pitcher Guillaume Blanchette, and Saskatchewan... 

Regina Capitals win baseball league

The Regina Capitals have won the Qu’Appelle Valley Baseball League for the 2011 season. They beat Bethune 8-5 on Monday to finish the best-of-three final. Rod Huck was the winning pitcher, while Andrew Mievre of Bethune was named the league MVP.  Read More →

Regina wins senior little league prairie championship

Regina won the senior little league prairie championship this weekend at Optimist Park. They beat Calgary’s Fish Creek 30-1 int he final. Shane Krupp was the winning pitcher. Regina will now play in the Canadian championships in Quebec in the first week of August. Regina Wolfpack win final of Saskatchewan Premier Basebal League

The Regina Wolfpack were the victors in the final at the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League midget AAA playoffs in Saskatoon on the weekend. The beat the Humboldt Dodgers 15-14 in the final. Will Lerach was the winning pitcher while Emergy Anderson had the save. The Wolfpack began the tournament with a 7-2 win over the Saskatoon Cubs and a 7-5 win over the Saskatoon Giants. North Regina Little League Major AA all-stars win prairie division

The North Regina Little League Major AA all-stars won the prairie division playoffs in Edmonton this weekend. They beat the Medicine Hat Blue Jays 11-2 to win the title. Jacob Lipp was the winning pitcher for Regina. Regina’s record overall in the tournament was 5-0. Their first game was a 17-4 victory over Medicine Hat. Then they beat Rocky Mountain 17-7 and Lethbridge 14-4. Their semifinal...
