The Regina White Sox won the mosquito AA Tier II provincial championship this weekend with a 19-9 win in the final against the Saskatoon Blasting Braves. Nine teams were competing, including the Regina Buffalos and the Regina Pacers. The Regina Mets have earned the right to represent Regina as the host team at the Baseball Canada National Midget AAA Championships, to be held in Regina from August 18th to 22nd, as they won the Baseball Saskatchewan mdiget AAA championships. The Regina Drifters won the Saskatchewan 35-and-over baseball championship this weekend in Watrous. They beat the Yorkton Orioles 12-4 in the final for the win. The Regina Pacers won the bantam division of the Baseball regina AAA tournament at Lions Park this weekend. The score was tied 3-3 heading into the final. The Pacers then scored six runs, including a home run from Cole Paquin. Chase Nistor was the winning pitcher. The Regina Diamondbacks of teh Kiwanis Little League won the Pilot Butte invitational major baseball tournament on the weekend, beating the Pilot butte Bulls 7-0 in the final.
