The University of Regina Cougars women’s softball team won three games and had one loss in Saskatoon on the weekend. They beat the University of Saskatchewan Huskies 4-1, Shirrae Muhr pitching for Regina. They beat the Grant MacEwan University Griffins 6-1 with Muhr once again pitching, and Jenna Tanner was the winning pitcher in a 6-0 win, again against the Griffins. Their last game was a 2-0... 

The Winston Knoll Wolverines have won the RHSAA city baseball championship with a 2-1 victory over the Notre Dame Hounds in the final last night. In a well-pitched game, Tyler McWhirter was the hero as he hit a RBI single in the seventh inning to give Knoll the go-ahead. Marc Lowther pitched a shutout until the sixth inning for the Wolverines before McWhirter came in in relief. Tennessee Fafard played... 

The Winston Knoll Wolverines beat the Campbell Tartans 7-1 last night in the RHSAA baseball semifinal. The win sends the Wolverines to the final against the Notre Dame Hounds. Tyler McWhirter struck out six batters as the winning pitcher while Marc Lowther with 2-for-2 with two RBIs for Knoll. Drew Hendrickson was the losing pitcher. Knoll and Notre Dame will face off tonight at 3:45 pm at Optimist...

Tonight in the quarterfinals, Knoll beat Balgonie 2-0; Marc Lowther pitched for Knoll and Tyrel Fouhse for Balgonie.
