Bulyea Rustlers win Western Cycle Rambler Park Fastball
The Bulyea Rustlers won the Western Cycle Rambler Park Fastball title on Friday, beating the Regina Gold 3-1 in the final game.
Kevin Young was the winning pitcher, striking out seven in seven innings.

The Canadian midget baseball championship is underway in Regina, SK, from August 18th to the 21st. The Humboldt Dodgers are represting Saskatchewan while the Regina Mets are the host team.

Saskatchewan win silver at Baseball Canada Cup
Team Saskatchewan finished in second place at the Baseball Canada Cup in Moncton on the weekend.
Saskatchewan madeit to the final after a 7-6 win over B.C. They lost the gold medal match 3-2 to Ontario in a hard fought game.

Extreme win Western Canada senior B women’s championship
The Regina Extreme, who plan in the Regina Ladies Softball league, won the Western Canada senior B women’s championship this weekend in Stonewall, Manitoba.
They beat the Manitoba Seine River 11-4 in the gold medal final. Jill Williams was the tournament’s MVP.

Red Sox Claim WMBL Championship
For the first time in franchise history, the Regina Red Sox are Western Major Baseball League Champions.
With a 7-3 win in Game Four, the Red Sox defeated the Okotoks Dawgs 3-1 in the best-of-five WMBL Championship Series on Saturday night. Randy Ramirez clubbed a two-run homerun in the decisive seven-run sixth innings, while Braden Keathley worked into the eighth inning to earn the win.
