The Riffel Royals are 4A RIFL city champions after a 24-17 triple overtime win last night over the Campbell Tartans. The Tartans were ahead 10-0 aft er the first quarter, as Tyler Gaber ran for an eight-yard touchdown. The Tartans were strong defensively, as the Royals didn’t score until the fourth quarter, when Ryan Filyk scored on a one-yard touchdown run. Riffel then tied the game with a 24-yard... 

The O’Neill Titans will play at the 3A provincials after a 21-18 victory over the Moose Jaw Vanier Vikings this weekend in a 3A provincial semifinal game in Regina. The titans came from behind when Mathew Yee hit Ashton Vien with a 28-yard touchdown pass. It was Vien’s third touchdown of the day, as he ran for two others. The provincial championships will take place Saturday in Saskatoon...

The Riffel Royals and the Campbell Tartans won their semifinal game last night in the Schwan Conference RIFL semifinals to set up the final. The Royals beat the Balfour Redmen 33-7. It was 12-7 after the half until Riffel opened the scoring in the second half, taking advantage of eight Balfour turnovers. Mason Rossler ran for three touchdowns and Jeremy Sylvester threw a 35-yard pass to Julen Lynch... 

The O’Neill Titans won the 3A RIFL championship 32-22 over the Notre Dame Hounds tonight. The Titans scored when Cole Wilchynski ran for a two-yard touchdown and then on the next possession caught a 21-yard pass in the end zone from quarterback Mathew Yee. Ashton Vien ran 48 yards for another touchdown before the end of the half. In the second, Myles Ledesma, Drake Drum and Cody Jorgenson each...
