New inductees into Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame
Fivenew inductees will be inducted into the Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame in October.
Doug Mader of Lumsden will be inducted as a player, while Terry Meier of Regina will be inducted as a builder.
Pat Lawson of Saskatoon will also be inducted as a player, while Danny Jutras of Prince Albert and Bill Wallace of St. John’s, Newfoundland, will also be inducted as builders.

Regina golfers find success at Saskatchewan junior golf chamiponships
The CPGA of Saskatchewan junior golf championships were played in Lethbridge, Alberta this weekend. Many Regina golfers played well over the weekend:

Saskatchewan Men’s Amateur
The Saskatchewan Men’s Amateur is being played this week at The Legends Golf Course in Swift Current.
Day 2 - Troy Bulmer of Saskatoon shot a one-under-par 71 to take the lead after Day 2 with a two-point total of 145, at +1. Tyler Wright of Regina is tied for third at five-over, while Andrew Zaba of Deer Valley is tied for sixth at +7.

Regina Ladies Golf Tournament
July 20 – Kathy Ziglo of Saskatoon won the Regina Ladies Golf Tournament yesterday. She shot a 76 in her second round for a two-round total of 152. Regina’s 16-year-old Lisa Reid shot 74 in the second round to take second place with a total of 161. Kim Walker of the Wascana shot an 82 the second round for a total of 163.

Amanda Hungle finishes fourth
Regina’s Amanda Hungle finisheed in fourth place at the Saskatchewan Amaetuer Women’s golf championship. Hungle had a four round total of 321 after scores of 82, 73, 73, 81, for +33 over four days.

The Saskatchewan Mid-Amateur men’s golf is taking place this week at the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre.

Ryan McNall wins Saskatchewan Publinx Golf Championship
Ryan McNall came out the victor in the Saskatchewan Publinx Golf championship over the weekend at Tor Hill.
McNall, playing his own course, shot a two-over-par 73 on Saturday before shooting a par 71 on Sunday, in a round he came back in after being five shots behind the leader. His two-day total of 144 was enough to win over five players who tied for second, as follows:

Dean Brown fourth at PGA Championship of Canada
Regina’s Dean Brown finished fourth at the PGA Championship of Canada over the weekend at the Cottonwood Golf and Country Club.
The Champinoships took place in Dewinton, Alberta. Brown lost to Danny King of Ontario in the third-place match while Vincent Dumouchel of Quebec won the event, beating Brian McCann of Ontario in the final.
