Saskatchewan athletes took part in the Canadian National Cross Country Championships on Nov. 26th in Vancouver. Cougars at intrasquad meet

The University of Regina Cougars took part in an intrasquad meet this weekend. Chris Pickering won the men’s weight throw with a distance of 15.44 m, in addition to the shot put with 16.68 m, which is a Cougar record. Cougar men third, women tie for fourth in Canada West standings at CIS Championships

Stewart Cup Memorial Cross Country Championship 2011 Results

The 2011 Alberta Provincial Senior Cross Country championships, in conjunction with the Stewart Memorial Cross Country Cup, was held in Edmonton on Sat. Oct 29, 2011. Cougars place eighth at Vic Matthews Open

The University of Regina’s men’s cross country team finished in eighth place in the overall standings on Saturday afternoon at the Vic Matthews Open in Guelph, Ont. Wiebe finishes fourth in top division at Roy Griak Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Kelly Wiebe sparkled for the University of Regina’s men’s cross country team on Saturday at the Roy Griak Invitational, as the fifth-year harrier finished in fourth place in the competition’s Division I individual standings.   Wiebe’s time of 23:49 on the eight-kilometre Les Bolstad Golf Course track was topped only by three athletes in the 220-runner field.... 

U of R men win Cougar Trot

The University of Regina cross-country team took part in the Cougar Trot meet on Saturday in Wascana Park. Cougar men took the top three places. Kelly Wiebe won the men’s eight-kilometre race in 23 minutes 59.97 seconds. Iain Fyfe and Matt Johnson were second and third. The Cougars took the men’s title.
