The Saskatcheawn Cycling Association presented awards this weekend to some of their top cyclists. Brad Clifford, born in Regina, received the Ken Wilson Achievement Award for his service to the SCA. Joe Gomes, also from Regina, received the Cycling Mileage Achievement Trophy for cycling 12,146 kilometres over the past year. The Wascana Challenge mountain bike race was held Sunday on the Wascana Trails near Regina. Brad Kerr won the senior elite men’s title in his home city, while Jeremy Trask of Regina was second. The Western Cycle XC8 Enduro race takes place tomorrow. Top racers from across Western Canada will compete in Saskatchewan’s largest mountain bike race. The race starts at 10 am at Buffalo Pound Park, and features solo riders or teams of two to four racing for eight hours. The top three male and female competitiors receive cash prizes.  Read More →

The RONA MS Bike Tour combines recreational cycling and fund raising. This national event provides an opportunity for cyclists to have a two day ride through rural Saskatchewan and to raise funds to help end MS. You cycle and raise pledges; we take care of the rest! The first MS Bike Tour in Saskatchewan was held in August of 1990 and in 2009 with 200 cyclists raised $235, 000 towards the movement...
