The Bishops Gaiters won the Canadian university field lacrosse championship on Sunday, as they beat Brock University 11-6.

The Queen City Minor Box Lacross league championship takes place today in Lumsden.

Regina players headed to University Lacrosse Championships
Keegan Durovick, Ross Willis, Joseph Laprairie and Tyler Stensrun of Regina will be headed to the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association Championships next weekend as members of the Bishop’s Gaiters.
The Gaiters got to the championship with a 15-5 win over the University of Toronto.

Saskatchewan wins bronze
Saskatchewan’s team won bronze over the weekend at the Canadian under-16 boys field lacrosse championship in Alberta.
Saskatchewan beat Alberta 17-0 in the bronze medal game. Matt Anholt, Brodie Jorgenson, Sawyer Lange, and Kael Naylor each had two goals for Saskatchewan. Chance Delgarno, Sam Murphy, Matt Palmer, Hayden Segboer, and Thomas Schnitzler also had a goal apiece.
