Christine Richardson of Regina took part in the Mile High racquetball pro-am tournament in Denver this weekend. She advanced to the round of eight in the women’s open event and was then eliminated. She made it to the round of 16 in the women’s pro event before being eliminated.

Regina athletes at Keystone Classic pro-am racquetball tournament
Regina athletes took part in the Keystone Classic pro-am racquetball tournament in Winnipeg this weekend.
Brian Mohr finished first in the men’s singles A event; Darrell Davis, also of Regina, was second.
Regina’s Jennifer Hogan was second in the women’s singles A event while Zoe Hanson finished third. Cindy Obuck was first in the women’s C singles consolation event.

The Racquetball Canada singles selection event took place in Regina this weekend.
Brandi Jacobston Prentice and Christine Richardson, both of Regina, finished in 4th and 5th on the women’s side.
Kris Odegard, Tim Landeryou and Nathanial Husulak pf Regina finished second, third and fourth in the men’s event.

Christine Richardson of Regina was fourth on the weekend in the women’s open competition at the Racquetball Canada national team selection event in Oakville, Ontario.
The event is one of three which will choose Racquetball Canada’s national teams. The next event is February 4th and 5th in Regina.

Zoe Hanson and Ashton Duda of Regina recently competed in the junior world racquetball championships in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Regina players at junior racquetball championships
April 30 – Ashton Duda won the gold medal final in the 16-and-under boys division against Sami Harb of Ontario today, winning in two games of 15-5 and 15-13. He made the final after beating Anthony Schonberger from New Westminster, B.C., in three games of 15-10, 9-15, and 11-2. Saskatchewan’s Squash Team at the Canada Winter Games
Feb 17th – Saskatchewan’s female team finished in 9th place with a 4-0 win over the Yukon. Saskatchewan’s male team finished in 7th with a 4-0 win over Nova Scotia.
