Mark McMorris of Regina finished in ninth place in men’s slopestyle at the world snowboarding championships in Oslo, Norway. Regina’s Mark McMorris won the Snowboard Big Air competition at the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colarado, as he landed a backside triple cork mute 1440 in the finals, scoring 49 out of a possible 50 points. The winner is determined by a combination of the riders’ two best tricks. McMorris also landed a frontside double cork mute 1080 in his first run. McMorris also finished first in the elimination...
