Mark McMorris wins stop on TTR World Tour

Regina’s Mark McMorris won the TTR World Tour’s 6 Star Air and Style compition this weekend in Innsbruck, Austria. McMorris finished second in his last event. He finished on the top of the podium in the Air and Style formatted event, which features head-to-head elimination rounds.  Read More →

Mark McMorris second in Winter X-Games

Mark McMorris of Regina snowboarded at the Winter X-Games in Aspen, Colorado this weekend, finishing high int he standings. McMorris was second in the men’s slopestyle with 90 points, just three behind the winner. He was fourth in men’s big air with a score of 73, seven points behind the winner.  Read More →

Mark McMorris @ Burton New Zealand open Snowboarding Championships

Mark McMorris was seventh in slopestyle at the Burton New Zealand Open Snowboarding Championships, which finished Aug. 15 in New Zealand. After the event, McMorris is now fourth on the men’s tour, which features 40 of the top snowboarders in the world. McMorris didn’t compete in the halfpipe event at the championships.  Read More →

Mark McMorris second in the world after event

Mark McMorris of Regina is now ranked second in the world after finishing third of 40 riders at the 5Star Billabong Ante Up big air event in Whistler, BC, this weekend. It was the first event of the Swatch TTR World Tour. McMorris will next attend the 5Star Burton New Zealand Open in Cardrona on August 14th. He is only 3.86 points behind world leader Braaten Gjermund of Norway.  Read More →
