Cougar swim team at Canada West Championships

Jan 28 – Carlos Quiroz highlighted Day 2 of the Canada West Swimming Championships for the University of Regina with a fourth-place finish in the 50-metre freestyle on Saturday. RODS coach receives award

The head coach of the Regina Optimist Dolphins, Sylvain Pineau, has received the CSCTA Speedo Domestic Excellence Award. Each year the CSCTA and Speedo recognizes Canadian Coaches who lead their athletes to a Gold medal at various Domestic Championship competitions throughout the season. Saskatchewan swimmers at Paul Bergen Junior Int Short Course Championships

Eight swimmers from Saskatchewan are competing at the Paul Bergen Junior International Short Course Championships this weekend in Portland Oregon as Team Sask. Cassandra Brassard makes A final in 100 back

This past weekend, Cassandra Brassard led RODS team at the Canada Cup with a 7th place finish in 100 Back. RODS win 27 AMAC Events

This past weekend the Regina Optimist Dolphins Swim Club attended the Alberta Marlins Aquatic Club Meggitt Training Services Canada Invitational Swim Meet in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Michael Qing ready to copmete with the top hopefuls for London 2012

Regina Piranhas win Saskatchewan summer championships

The Regina Piranhas Summer Swim Club has won the Saskatchewan summer swim championships this past weekend. Regina’s score of 690 gave the Piranhas their first win at the Saskatchewan championships.   Lauren Lavoie and Stephanie Hadubiak, both of the Piranhas Swim Club, set a provincial record in the 200 m freestyle and 200 m medley relays.
