Regina water polo players win at nationals
The Calgary Bowness Monster won the senior men’s Canadian club championships this weekend. Six players and one coach from the team are originally from Regina, including Noah Miller, Pat McGinn, Will Tunison, Kent Hardisty, Andrew Wallace, and coach Chris Holden. They were part of the team that beat the Montreal CAMO 8-7 in the gold medal match.

Synchronized Swimming Excellence Program
Three Saskatchewan synchronized swimming clubs were chosen for the 2010-11 club excellence program. Regina Synchro, Yorkton Aquabatix, and the Estevan mermaids were selected. Seventeen clubs across Canada were selected. Because Regina is categorized as a gold club, they receive $3,462.50 in funding.

Regina’s Jenna Crook scored two goals on Sunday as the Canadian team won a bronze medal at the Canada Cup women’s water polo tournament. Canada beat Italy 16-9 for third place. Canada at the FINA World Cup women’s water polo tournament
Aug 23 – Canada beat Hungary 18-16 yesterday to finish fifth overall in the FINA women’s water polo World Cup Tournament.
