Cougar men finish second, women fifth at CIS Wrestling Championships
THUNDER BAY, Ont. – The University of Regina’s men’s wrestling team finished in second place and the Cougar women placed fifth as the 2012 CIS Championships wrapped up on Saturday at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ont.
The men’s team ended up with 52 points in the overall standings, finishing just two points behind Concordia to end up in second place at the CIS meet for the fourth time...

In the RHSAA Wrestling Female Championship last night, Campbell beat Knoll 36-23 in the first semi-final while O’Neill beat Miller 46-13 in the second.

Three members of the University of Regina’s women’s wrestling team competed at the Guelph Open on Saturday in Guelph, Ont. Lisa McKibben (67 kg) and Jasmine Slinn (48 kg) both had fourth-place finishes for the Cougars.
