Nitro win at Razz Winter Classic
The Regina East United Nitro won the Under-16 Division 1/Under-18 Division 2 boys final on the weekend at the seventh annual Razz Winter Classic indoor soccer tournament, hosted by REU.
The Nitro won the gold medal game, beating the Unidad 96s 3-2.
The Nitro is an Under-18 Division 2 team, while the Unidad is an Under-16 Division 1 team, made up of players from the REU and ACFC clubs.

RE United Red Stars win under-12 boys QC/UCT tournament
The RE United Red Stars were victorious this weekend in the under-12 boys QC/UCT tournament over the weekend. The Red Stars beat QC United 2-1 in the final to win the tournament, after losing QC United 2-0, tying UCT 1-1, and beating AC 4-0.

The RE United Red Stars won the under-12 Division 1 boys title this weekend at the QC Breakaway Tournament. Moetaz Grehmida scored the winning goal while Tyler Nicolson had the first two goals for the Stars.

Saskatchewan soccer teams at the Canadian soccer all-star competition
July 25 - The under-14 girls lost 1-0 to Manitoba and 3-0 to Nova Scotia on Sunday to finish in sixth place. The under-16 girls tied Nova Scotia 1-1- and then tied Newfoundland 0-0 on Sunday to finish in sixth place. Erica Hindmarsh scored against Nova Scotia.

Laos wins men’s division of the WCP Cup; Ukraine takes women’s division
Laos beat former champions, Ireland, in the final matchup of the men’s division of the WCP Cup. Laos won 3-2 in the final at the Credit Union EventPlex, which went into a shootout. Adam Ailsby, Scott Myrah, and Josh Northey scored for Laos while David Brown and Collin Giroux scored for Ireland.
