Regina Volleyball Teams at 14U Sask Cup

Regina volleyball teams took part in the 14U Women Sask Cup in Saskatoon on the weekend. In the 14U tier 1 gold medal game, the Regina QCVC Royals beat the Prince Albert Toppers En Fuego 25-20, 25-22. The Regina QCVC Thunder lost to the Saskatoon JCVC REd 21-25, 25-23, 15-9 in the Tier II gold medal game. Saskatchewan Volleyball Championships

Regina Volleyball teams were back in Saskatoon this weekend for provincial championships. The Regina Volleyball Club Cougars won the under-17 men’s title, beating the Saskatoon Court Marshalls 25-13, 20-25, 15-13 in the final. High School Junior Volleyball Championships

The large school junior volleyball championships took place last night. In junior girls play, LeBoldus defeated Riffel 2-1 in sets of 25-15, 21-25, 25-11. Saskatchewan at Western Elite volleyball championships

Saskatchewan teams participated in the Western Elite volleyball championships in Calgary on the weekend. The Saskatchewan White 17U team finished in fourth place after losing the bronze-medal match to the Manitoba Gold. The Saskatchewan Green 17U men’s team finished eighth. Teh Saskatchewan Green 16U women’s team finished fourth, losing the bronze-medal match to the B.C. Reds in five sets.... 

Saskatchewan at the National Team Challenge Cup

Saskatchewan is at the National Team Challenge Cup, held by Volleyball Canada. The men’s team was playing in Toronto. Play started on Friday, and finished today. On Friday, Saskatcheawn lost to Manitoba 3-1 (22-25; 25-18; 18-25; 14-25) and to Alberta 3-1 (21-25; 25-16; 15-25; 18-25). Regina Not So Violent Femmes win silver

The Regina Not So Violent Femmes won silver on the weekend in the masters 35-and-over women’s championship in Saskatoon, as part of the Saskatchewan Volleyball Association.
